Not your ordinary white South African Afrikaans female artist... She has taken a leap into bridging cultural diversity through her "Homage to the Ndebele" exhibition which was hosted by Art@Constantia at Groot Constantia Wine Farm. It required a serious delving into a culture that seemed far removed, yet known only through mild curiosity by their colorful displays peculiar to them. Ritzi will explain in detail the various meanings of color, patterns and composition which seems to be a hidden code or story unknown to those who are not Ndebele. The richness in our various cultural diversities is being bridged through efforts such as these by a very talented and forward thinking artist, Ritzi.
